OK Oppo need your help.
My trusty Xbox One has been sitting around gathering dust since I bought it in January and I need a game for it. I have Assasin's Creed Black Flag which is fun but doesn't get enough of my attention. I have Forza 4 and Horizon on Xbox 360 FYI.
Forza 5
Pros: More realistic physics, cheaper
Cons: Only race on tracks
Horizon 2:
Pros: Open world
Cons: More arcade-y
Need your help guys! Which do you prefer?

GT 6 :P Sorry.. nah... I dunno.. FH2 if I just wanna have some fun, F5 for more realistic stuff, it all depends on what you prefer if I'm honest.

You don't need video games then! I stopped playing them and started dumping that money into my grandma car.

Depends on what you dig.
The physics will only be SLIGHTLY less realistic in Horizon. The primary physics engine underpinning everything is the same. What's more "arcade-y" is the lights, motion blur, special effects, certain presentation things like that. The driving experience is essentially the same.
The big difference between Forza 4 and Horizon 1 was the level of customization. Ie, it was much deeper for 4, while Horizon 1 (apparently) paled in comparison. Full disclosure: I own Horizon 1 but not Forza 4.
Man, the open-road aspect cannot be overstated. I come home from work, if I've had a bad day, I turn on Horizon, and I go for a drive. I hop into one of several cars in my fantasy garage, and go for a breathtaking cruise around "Colorado." I can hop out whenever I want, and hop into any other car my heart desires to own. Doing this in southern Europe? Sounds fucking amazing.
I recommend Horizon.

If one or the other, I'd say Horizon 2. But honestly: both.
Yeah, Horizon 2 generated way more buzz I think.

$40-$50 for a game isn't going to break the car repair fund.

Horizon 2. Forza 6 will be out in 10 months. Also Sunset Overdrive is a lot of fun if you just want a video game and it is the most video gamey game I have ever played.

Eh my car is 9 years old with 142K miles on it. Not worth modifying. Just going to drive it to the ground (hoping for 200K)

Not to tell you what to do with your money but is a Mercury Sable worth modifying? Also what does one modify on a Mercury Sable. Serious questions

Great questions! I don't even know how to answer them the right way. I'm not one for small cars so my mid-sized sedan is perfect for me and my first car was 2001 Sable (I even modded that one before I crashed it). I've done a lot OEM mods (adding the factory premium audio system, factory rear mud-flaps, 2004 Sable taillights) I also did some aftermarket stuff (new speakers, magnaflow muffler, LEDs EVERYWHERE!!, better headlight and fog light bulbs). I can go on and on.

Oh Ok so fairly cheap stuff. That makes sense then. I upgraded the speakers in my Jeep to the ones that the SRT8 gets but other than that its stock. It has a leaky water pump, leaky transmission cooler lines, a bad front differential bushing, has a warning light that says "Service Elec Brake System" which apparently is probably a bad wheel speed sensor and then needs new brakes all around. So I will be kissing some money good bye in the near future :(.
